Jotter

Stop re-explaining yourself to every AI assistant

Save your context in one chat and pick it up in another assistant or a fresh thread. Works with ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. No copy-paste.

Free to start, no card needed. Connect once and save your first jot in under a minute.

How it works

1

Connect once

Add Jotter as a connector in each assistant you use. Sign in once.

2

“Jot this”

Say it in any chat. Jotter writes the note, or a handoff (a summary of the whole conversation), and saves it privately.

3

Pick up anywhere

“Continue my last handoff” or “what did I jot about pricing?” in any other assistant.

Connect

Jotter is a standard connector (an MCP server): add it once per assistant, then sign in. Before you start: ChatGPT needs developer mode, available on its paid plans, and Gemini connects through the CLI or Enterprise.

FAQ

What is Jotter?

Jotter saves context from one AI assistant so you can load it in another. You jot a note or hand off a conversation in ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, then pick it up in any other assistant or a new chat, with no copy-paste and no re-explaining.

How is it different from ChatGPT or Claude memory?

Built-in AI memory stays locked inside one vendor and captures automatically. Jotter is the opposite: you choose what to save, and it moves across ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. It is portable, user-controlled context, not background memory.

Which AI assistants does it work with?

Any assistant that supports connectors (MCP): ChatGPT in developer mode, Claude on web, desktop, mobile, and Code, and Gemini via CLI or Enterprise. You connect Jotter once per assistant.

Is my data private? Do you train on it?

Your jots are private to you and stored only at your direction. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell your data.

How much does it cost?

Free for 10 jots, kept forever. Pro is $9.99 a year (under $1 a month, about 3 cents a day) for 5,000 jots.

Are there usage limits?

Free includes 10 jots; Pro includes 5,000. The caps keep Jotter fast for everyone. Nothing ever auto-deletes: your jots stay until you delete them.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. The free plan needs no card and has no trial clock. Connect Jotter to an assistant, sign in, and save your first jot right away.

What's coming, and can I send feedback?

Jotter gets built from what users ask for, so feature requests and feedback are welcome. Email jotter@helixmedialabs.com and we read every one.
