Jotter

Move a ChatGPT conversation to Claude, and back

Do the research in ChatGPT and the writing in Claude, or the other way round. Jot it in one, load it in the other, with your decisions and next steps intact.

Animation: in ChatGPT, someone says “jot this” and Jotter saves their CRM vendor shortlist. In Claude they say “load my latest jot” and Claude offers to draft the recommendation memo.

Set it up once

In ChatGPT

Open the Plugins tab, search for Jotter, install it, and sign in.

Open in ChatGPT

In Claude

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste this URL, then sign in.

https://jotter.fyi/mcp

Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http jotter https://jotter.fyi/mcp

Sign in with the same email in both, so your jots land in one account.

Then say “jot this” in ChatGPT and “load my latest jot” in Claude, or search: “what did I jot about the CRM?” It works the other way round too.

How is this different from importing memory?

Memory import tools copy a snapshot of what one assistant remembers about you, once, in one direction. Jotter moves the specific work you choose, every time you want, in both directions, and keeps it as a note you can load again next week.

Questions

Will Claude see my ChatGPT history?

No. Jotter never reads your chats. Claude sees only the jot you chose to save.

Does it work with Claude Code?

Yes. Add Jotter with the claude mcp add command above, then say "load my latest jot" in your session.

How much does it cost?

Free for 10 jots, kept forever. Pro is $19 a year for 5,000 jots.
